Initial Inspection
Every unit we acquire goes through a number of initial checks by qualified technicians before it's considered for inventory

• Screen brightness, dead pixels, bright/dark spots, polarization, response time, and clarity (80% min. for Grade-C / 90% min for Grade-B / 95% min for Grade-A)

• All ports are fully checked for 100% functionality

• RAM, WiFi, 4G sockets are fully inspected for physical integrity and for functionality

• All rubber seals checked for dryness, cracks, rips or any physical damage

• The body is carefully inspected for cracks or any serious dents. Scratches, scuffs, minor dents are reported in details for accurate cosmetic grading

• Keyboard & touchpad are checked for 100% functionality and physical integrity

Performance Benchmarking
Once all components have been fully inspected, defective parts are professionally replaced with equal or better parts and the unit goes to final testing before entering our inventory

• All aspects of connectivity are benchmarked for signal strength, stability and performance. This includes WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Ethernet, USB, VGA, HDMI, Serial Port (RS232), and WWAN (3G/4G)

• Heatsink on the processor (CPU) is carefully tested for heat conductivity. The fan operation (except for fanless models) is checked for performance

• Hinges and joints are inspected for strength

• Doors and port covers are inspected for rips or tears

• Unit is cleaned and professionally sanitized internally & externally

• Unit is finally graded for cosmetic condition (A, B or C)

Pre-packing Inspection
Before the unit is packed for shipping, our bench technicians will spend hours performing the following

• Check all specifications, configurations & cosmetic grade against your order

• Run a fresh installation of the operating system

• Install and tune up model-specific drivers & utilities

• Install the latest updates for your operating system

• Third-party utilities such as; Adobe Acrobat Reader, Antivirus, Office Productivity (Spreadsheets/Document Editor/Presentation), Media Codecs are installed

• Unit is sent to our shipping department 

Packing & Shipping

• Unit goes through final physical inspection to match cosmetic grade

• Final surface cleaning

• Accessories check (recovery media, AC adapter, stylus pen, tether cord etc)

• Unit & accessories are professionally packed and sealed

• All components are entered into our system for warranty and support purposes

• Shipping label is produced and communicated through the sales channel

• Unit is ready for pick up by the carrier
